“It's worth the money just to be there and soak in the history. The audio guide at the colosseum isn't the best but I really didn't feel I needed it to appreciate the scale and history of the place. You could spend all day at the roman forum it seems to go on forever. Maybe not super interesting for young ones but worth seeing all the same. Just make sure you take your ID for colosseum they will not let you in without. Luckily I had a picture my driving licence on my phone and they happily accept that.”
